bullet  Antique Face Knob, weird

back one page
go to the beginning of category: Weird Things
A rather weird heavily cast solid brass door knob. Theres not a lot more we can say about this other than it looks very old and very weird. It takes a standard threaded spindle and has some evidence of past abuse around the stem. It is also very heavy indeed weighing in at nearly 800gs. We have seen similar items to this listed on American sites at comedy prices ($1000.00 +) but we are always trying to list at sensible prices. A conversation piece to be sure.
