Arts and Crafts, planished finger plate

If you are a regular visitor to our site you have hopefully seen our photography improve slowly over the years. However it has been a challenge, to get a decent picture that doesn't make it look like the plate is dented all over ... oh, wait a minute it has been, by a planishing hammer, duh! We laboriously polished this by hand as the wheel would soften the fine detail of this classic arts and crafts metal finishing technique. These are in wonderful overall condition and have been treated with delicate care and attention. With no dings, dents (apart from the ones that are supposed to be there of course) or scratches these have got to be among the most fabulous finger plates we have ever listed. Please note, because of the time these take to prepare they are only polished order so there will be a delay in dispatch of between 24 and 48 hours depending on how busy we are
