Victorian Brass Door Knocker

A somewhat different solid cast brass door knocker cast as a bunch of grapes. We spent three hours trying to get decent images to illustrate the thing on the web site, as you can see we failed miserably :-( Looks better in the flesh. Requires some experience when fitting as the original threaded holes for the mounting studs were stripped so new threaded sleeves were silver soldered into place, also the pivot knuckle extends below the surface of the sides and will require a small recess in the door to accommodate it. See images for more details. Something a bit different, some minor surface character but sound and heavy with an integral striker. All required fixings included.
