bullet  Jail Cell Door Lock, oh sweet freedom

back one page
go to the beginning of category: Locks - rim locks
Have you ever spent a night enjoying the hospitality of your local branch of Her Majesties Constabulary? If so you may have wondered why the cell doors all open inwards. It is to stop the scallywag or scallywags contained therein rushing young PC Plod when he delivers the comestibles (for example) or so we have been told (ahem). A huge and solid jail cell door lock designed for inward opening doors. When originally deployed, the bolt would be shot into a slot in the steel door frame of the cell. There are a number of keep solutions available for non-custodial uses in the home (pantry door or example) Feel free to contact us for more details. Fully refurbished and in full working order. Price contains a contribution to postage as this will probably cost and arm and a leg to post. Requires large rebate in door (approx 22cm long x 15cm high x 2.7cm deep) and for obvious reasons is not openable in any way from inside. Comes complete with (original?) working key.
