Art Deco Brass Double Door Handles, pair

A picture, so it is said paints a thousand words which is a bit of a relief as we really don't know where to start. When we handed over hard cash for these it was a bit of a leap in the dark. Many hours of work later and we've seen the light. This pair of handles is the first of four pairs of these we rescued from the melting pot. They all need lots of work and we will list them as they become available. They have obviously led an `interesting` life as there is plenty of surface character. We've removed some of the shallow, more recent marks but the older ones we've left alone The handles are fixed to the door with four countersunk screws, two of which are installed in a hole between the `legs`.
