go to the beginning of category: Brackets
We've probably mentioned before how sometimes we get our finds back to the workshop only to ask ourselves 'why in the name of sanity did we buy this' These brackets have to be among the rustiest things we've bought in a long time. We were about to pitch them into the scrap bin when a sudden urge to clean them up came upon us. We should have had more faith, not only are they completely sound with no splits or cracks but treating them with our hot wax process revealed a fantastic patina and surface texture. We're not sure what they were originally used for but we can think of a number of applications today. These are certainly very old, we're quite comfortable labelling them as antique but whatever you decide to call them they are now ready for another 100 years use. The diameter of the pole hole is 26mm. Price shown is for the pair.
