Unusual Dual Handed Rim Lock, versatile

Possibly one of the most versatile locks ever made. Steel mechanism case with cast iron frame. not only suitable for either handed door but also suitable for a situation we are seeing increasingly frequently, that of the `outward` opening doors. The case containing the mechanism can be removed simply by pressing the case out of the frame, turning it around and pressing back in to the frame. The mechanism is held in by spring pressure and the latch rotates by 360 degrees and changing t he orientation into any desired configuration is the work of moments
